First Lady Tonya P. Eley 

First Lady Tonya Eley serves alongside her husband, Pastor Michael L. Eley, Sr., at New Bethel Baptist Church in Rolesville, N.C.
 
Lady Eley was born in Louisiana and raised throughout the country as her father traveled and served in the U.S. Army for over 25 years. This experience provided her with invaluable knowledge, priceless wisdom and a heart to serve people. She often refers to her ministry gift as “Helps”. Lady Eley is a caring leader and spiritual mentor with a genuine concern for God’s people. In her professional career, Lady Eley has been a Registered Nurse for over 30 years. She is a Certified Case Manager and a member of Chi Eta Phi Sorority, Inc. She also serves as Adjunct Professor for the Nursing Assistant program at Wake Technical Community College. Throughout the years, she has served faithfully within the church through the Usher Ministry, Marriage Ministry, First Aide Ministry, Nursing/Health Ministry and Medical Support Ministry.
 
Lady Eley is humble and has a welcoming spirit. She is a firm believer in giving your best and working in excellence. She lives by the principle found in Proverbs 16:3: “Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established.”
 
Lady Eley and Pastor Eley have been blessed to be married for over 29 years. They are proud parents of one son, Minister Michael L. Eley, Jr. ​
